Who We Are
Steve
Szalowski, LCSW-R, is considered a Asperger's Syndrome
specialist. He has conducted over twenty school year collaborative
skills groups for both genders with children and adults. He co-developed
many of the training protocols used for these groups. Mr. Szalowski
was the Director of a week long day camp program for boys
with Asperger's syndrome. For twelve years he was a pre-school
social worker and worked as part of multi-disciplinary teams that
addressed goals on Individualized Education Plans in self-contained
and inclusion classrooms. He has significant experience treating
couples, siblings, and extended family members that manage Autism
Spectrum issues. Mr. Szalowski frequently presents at various
conferences, community agencies, and schools on topics related to
Autism and Aspergers Syndrome.
Tim
Wright MS, LMHC worked nine years at a leading
psychiatric hospital providing individual, family and group
therapy services
addressing a wide range of diagnoses, including Bipolar,
Anxiety and Depressive Issues, as well as Asperger
syndrome and
PDD, NOS. He also worked five years in a Day Treatment
Program for children and adolescents with Emotional Disabilities
within a special education setting. Also, Mr. Wright
served three years as a Behavioral Specialist with
persons with Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI) sequalae. He has directed
a busy private therapy practice since 2000.
